Founded in 2005, Makina Films is a production company with 20 years of experience creating commercials and audiovisual content across Latin America and international markets.

With a presence in Bolivia, Chile and Ecuador, and a network of production partners and alliances across Argentina, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Colombia and Central America, we bring local knowledge and regional expertise to every production, understanding the culture and unique character of each market.

In 2015, El Ojo de Iberoamérica named Makina Films Best Production Company in the Southern Region, a historic achievement for a Bolivian production company. We received the award again in 2018 and were named Best Production Company in Bolivia in 2020.

We were also named Best Production Company in Bolivia by the FICE Ibero-American Ranking for three consecutive years —2018, 2019 and 2020— becoming the only production company in the country to achieve this distinction three years in a row.

Our work has been recognized at some of the industry's most prestigious international festivals. We are the only Bolivian production company with award-winning work at Cannes Lions, The One Show and D&AD.

Over the past two decades, we have delivered more than 1,500 productions, working alongside some of the leading agencies and brands in the region.

Our experience goes beyond advertising, extending into film, documentaries, television and international content. We are co-producers of the short film Ceremonia and associate producers of the feature film Buey Rojo Sangre.

Today, Makina Films produces throughout South and Central America, connecting talent, experience and cultures across markets.
